Signalong Online Workshop Course

What to Expect

Signalong Tutor Maxine will be hosting an online, half a day Workshop course (3.5 hours) exclusively via Zoom based on the Basic Vocabulary Phase 1 manual. We will teach you about how to use and implement Signalong as well as the skills needed to be able to perform our signs. Price includes a copy of the manual to be used in the training course and a certificate of completion also. Please note that this is a paid Workshop course and payment will need to be made in full to secure your place. If the course does not fill to sufficient capacity, we will cancel this and transfer your place to another appropriate course at a later date. You may cancel your place for a full refund up to 48 hours before the course start date. Thereafter you will not be eligible for a refund, but may be offered an alternative course to transfer to at our discretion. We look forward to seeing you.

Important Information

For those participating in online training, we have a few policies set out below that we would like you to adhere to protect yourself as trainees (and others too), as well as the integrity, standard and copyright of Signalong the Communication Charity. No material from any manual, digital resource or poster is to be photographed, copied or scanned during your training course or at any other time. Ensure that you have all training materials provided to hand for the duration of the course. Those attending the course are not permitted to screenshot, record or upload any videos from this training course. This is considered a breach of Signalong’s copyright policy and will be dealt with accordingly. You will be contacted by Signalong if found to have done so and asked for the material to be taken down. We use a secure platform which means that you only the person that is intended to attend the course has access. We require your permission to agree to record our courses for the purpose of training and quality control. Occasionally, we may use elements of the course to share with our Tutor network for which we will obtain your express permission. If you are unable to attend this session, you may cancel your place for a full refund up to 48 hours prior to the start date. If cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the course start date, your booking fee is non-refundable but you may be offered the ability to transfer to another course at our discretion.
