The vocabulary in this manual is very extensive and covers the subject in detail which may not be appropriate in all cases. Much of the vocabulary will not be relevant for some people involved in work experience, but there may be others whose language difficulties present employment problems which may be alleviated by the use of signs for some of the more technical expressions. As in all language work with people with learning disabilities, new words/signs would only be introduced when the situation demanded them, so that the signs you select would be no more than the words you would use in any other training situation. We trust you, the user, to be discerning.
